Becoming a Domino's Pizza franchisee partner is seen as a long-term dedication and as such Domino's Pizza is looking for partners who represent their values and understand their place in the pizza market alongside what sets them apart from the rest. Currently, Domino's Pizza is granting first-serve opportunities for single-store franchises to candidates who have recently been a successful manager or supervisor of a store for at least 12 months. If the internal candidates decline the opportunity, the prospective locations will be posted to Domino's website for external consideration.
From there, applicants are required to submit an evaluation to Domino's Pizza directly through their website. Once the Domino's Pizza franchise team deems an applicant ready for starting a new Domino's Pizza location, they will schedule an interview for you to meet with the franchise team for further questions.
Originally founded in 1960, Domino's has gone on to innovate the way pizza is both delivered and ordered. Currently, Domino's Pizza is one of the largest pizza franchise chains in Canada.
Equipped with an ever-evolving menu that includes items like pasta, sandwiches, chicken wings, and salads that can complement their pizzas, Domino's is one of the forerunning candidates for anyone looking to open Pizza Franchise locations. Domino's provides franchise owners with exceptional company support and resources as they operate stores using Domino's menu and ordering systems.
Domino's Pizza looks for candidates who are both financially prepared and aligned with the values that they hold.
The most important factor that Domino's looks for in candidates are previous experience with the Domino's brand and leadership in a restaurant setting. if you have experience running another type of business including working with employees and customers, managing finances and leading teams, this will also greatly help in your evaluation. Domino's Pizza has a comprehensive training program that is mandatory when it comes to starting a new franchise with them. Domino's values partners who understand the process and outlines of the inner workings of their programs, this is one of the reasons why they place a higher priority on providing internal opportunities for franchises before allowing external candidates.
If you happen to currently own a Domino's franchise, opening a second location becomes exponentially faster and easier.
